PHP form, what have I done wrong?

Featured Replies

Hello :)

Hope this makes sense! I barely know PHP, so this is probably an easily corrected error :) I'm trying to make a very simple blog-type-thing. When going to the page it just displays a blank page.

sql database information is stored in another file, and is included at the top of the page, $_SESSION['Username'] is also defined.

Fixed

Hope you can help :) Thank you

Never mind, turned PHP errors on and found at what was wrong, had a missing ; :)

normally its a static value in the php.ini file but you can mod this on the fly using error_reporting();

place this as one of the first lines
error_reporting(7); // 9 is the max 0 is off... make sure your production servers have a error report value of 0

//you can also override this default error handler with a custom php function
set_error_handler("exceptions_error_handler_function");

hope that helps, but check out the php manual for further info :)
