what does this mean?

Featured Replies

After validating the page. a message that shows invalid, what does it means?

end tag for "img" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

<img src="images/pipegrids.gif"/ alt=""/>

There shouldn't be a slash after the src attribute. Also self closing tags (the ones that end in />) should have a space before the />, so it should be:

<img src="images/pipegrids.gif" alt="" />

Hope that helps

Don't know about 'OMITTAG NO' or anything like that but the code you reproduced has an extraneous '/' in it.

It should look like this:

<img src="images/pipegrids.gif" alt="" />
