another positioning problem

Hey am wondering if anyone can help me out I am having problems with what seems like it should be somethign simple my div containers heights are not filling the page. I have set the body and containers height to 100% but am using the inherit positioning rather than absolute because of other errors in IE. Is there any other way to check for page height, and give that value to the containers.
