Google language translate - Is a good option?

Featured Replies

Hi

Google language translate is a good option to insert on a website that have a few visitors from another countrys?

What is your opinion?

The translations are shoddy, they look unproffesional.

Google cannot account correctly for language genders, accents, slang, and correct contexts etc.

If you go and find a foreign website, translate it into English via google translator... you'll see what i mean, it's readable(ish) and gives you a general idea, but it's still poor.

Granted it's improving... but it's not at a good enough stage.

There are plenty of websites that allow you to hire a freelance translator, and they don't break the balance (depending on the website).
