This is my new website, that i am currently finishing off.

Please have a look, and tell me what you think.

The portfolio page is not yet finished, and gives an indication of the old design.

<please do not link, this is my testing server. thanks >

The first page that loaded for me, got me the blue sub-banner...which didn't quite add up for me because the name was vibrant color and all I saw was odd shades of blue. The other color sub-banner images were fine though. But I really wasn't feeling the blue.

One thing I think was missing, was to provide me with more reason why color is everything. I didn't learn anything new from visiting, based on the messages in the sub-banner. Instead of boasting expertise and experience, boast knowledge of color.

The text/content I didn't read at all because I didn't feel drawn in. I would have been more interested though if you focused the message on vibrant color usage.

Vibrant Colour is my trading name - i am a web design company, not a colour analyist!

I don't really understand what you mean, other than to put more colour in??

Vibrant Colour isnt neccessarily what i do, just like Dixons doesn't tell you what they do.

That mega repeating text in the background of the blue banner is horrible! Remove it, and the scan lines. Stay simple, like your logo!

The first thing I saw was the logo. The next thing I saw was small businesses. There were 21 words in banners/2.png, and only 2 of them said web design and they were at the end. I almost missed it in the first 5 seconds after page load.

Maybe the "great value on webdesign" could be bigger than the "small businesses and organizations" ? Or maybe combine the 2 catch lines into 1 catch line, like "Great Value on Small Business Webdesign". I think having 1 catchline would get to the point faster.
