I have a script that set's a cookie when it loads and on my local development environment (WAMP) the cookie is set perfectly fine. However, when I place the script online, for some reason php just wont set the cookie.

 

I have no output before I request to set the cookie so initial output cannot be the problem.

 

Example: setcookie('sid' , "afdsa44534erwew");

 

When uploaded, the above script will not work for some strange reason.

 

Localhost = PHP 5.2.7, Apache 2.2.10

Hostmonster = PHP 5.2.6, Apache 2.2.10

 

Maybe something to do with php configuration? I'm clueless.

I put it at the very top of the file and it worked...figuring out why now.
