I am new in javascript so help me in my porblem. My question is:-----

is java is completely oops language

I think you're confusing JavaScript with Java; they are two different beasts. JavaScript is what you'd use to add dynamic behaviour to web pages, and it is interpreted and executed by the user's browser. It is essentially a functional language with some support for objects (OOP). Since not every line of code has to be in a function, it has elements of a procedural language too, but this is often discouraged. It is also loosely typed (variables are not associated explicitly with data types), and interpreted from source by the browser on each page load.

Java on the other hand is almost "pure OOP", is strongly typed and is compiled from source into intermediate bytecode by a compiler. The bytecode is then executed in a (JIT) JVM at runtime. It's not quite "pure OOP", because there are primitive data types, but it's very close. Java runs as its own application on the desktop or server. Only Java applets are run and managed by the browser, but as objects embedded in the page, and not to add dynamic behaviour to existing (X)HTML.

Does that help?
