Position Images with CSS?

Featured Replies

hi guys,

I have laernt how to position images with XHTML (But have been advised to use CSS instead.) Forward Capability perhaps?

Anyway, Does some one know exactly how i do this or know of any tutorials out there?

Please take a look at my site im building - ive put the two photos on there with HTML for time being.

Also, is it possible to position the images to the left, right or whatever - and put them exactly where i want them??

As in - to the left, but not all the way to the left. if you know what i mean!!!!? <_<

thanks in advance! :D

PS I Would appreciate your comments also on the look of the site, so far, and any suggestions on making it look more professional and business like!!

Put the image inside a div, then use absolute or relative positioning :)

then add to you CSS style sheet an img property

ie

#example { border: 1px solid #000; }

#example p { padding: 0 0 0 0; margin 0 0 0 0; color: #000;

#example img { float: left; margin: 0 0 0 0; }

Yes, just remeber to put the text within <p> </p> tags! Otherwise it won't wrap properly ^_^
