CREATE TABLE error

Featured Replies

Hi folks

I'm following this tutorial, and it's going really well, except for the part where I create a table:

$sql = "CREATE TABLE Persons
(
personID int NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
PRIMARY KEY(personID),
FirstName varchar(15),
LastName varchar(15),
Age int
)";

mysql_query($sql,$con);

For some reason, the next part of the tutorial where I insert data into the table gives me an error 'saying table Persons does not exist', but the create database function is working fine.

Any ideas? Could this be related to which version of php I am using?

Thanks.

[EDIT]

D'oh!

I've just fixed it - apparently if you accidentally leave out the primary key line, it doesn't work!

Mods, feel free to delete this topic. Thanks :)
