5quidhost offer a free hosting package which may suit you - have a look.

I'm with One if you go though Quidco it works out 50p per year I have been with them for about 5 months now not had a problem.

i think this topic should have gone in the section of WDF dedicated to hosting.

I would recommend HeartInternet (see banner ad above), I have a resellers package with them as well as a few other hosting accounts and they are reliable and honestly priced.

On this note, for a designer starting out, making smaller websites... would the "Level 1" hosting package from 5quidhost be sufficient from the spec given here; http://www.5quidhost.co.uk/hosting.php - I too am a 'newbie' and require the advice of those in the know!
