SiteMeter problems

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I'm not sure if this topic is in the correct category, so - apologies in advance.

I have recently read various snippets on the web about SiteMeter. Apparently the tracking code that users must add to their websites has been crashing IE6 and IE7. On top of this, if you go to their website - www.sitemeter.com - you get a page of gibberish, which some people imply is related to the tracking code problem. Interestingly, the SiteMeter site looks no different when using Firefox 3. I do know that SiteMeter recently revamped their site but apparently had problems and had to revert to their previous site.

I use SiteMeter and the tracking code on my site does not cause any problems with IE7, which is what I use. Furthermore, I cannot access my account because of the problem with their website. And I'm paying $6.95 per month for the privilege!

I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on all this.

I guess I must be the only person on this forum that uses SiteMeter!
