Hi all still experimenting with javascript and making a wysiwyg editor working great now but i would like to transfer the colour of my selecter in to the code area, i can make it transfer any characters but need it to transfer the colour #code

this is what i have

this line produces the varable i need

i need this varible some how on click been tranfered to my editor any ideas thanks
