    You shouldn't be using either for development. There are far better tools out there for the job.
     
    For design: the browser, a whiteboard and a pen and paper can't be beaten. Many use photoshop / Illustrator but the big places (Those who are most forwards thinking) will get designers pairing with the developers to design in the browser - component by component. No big design up front.

    Hi all,
     
    I am looking at a number of courses - CIW Web Foundations Associate Certificate, or Dreamweaver CC Certification. I am looking to gain a qualification that will help me along the way, and improve my changes of applying for a position with a Web design company. I would also be looking to freelance long term.
     
    What course would you recommend as I've heard the CIW is a waste of time? Would the CIW be a better option as it appears to be a more recognised cert?
