    Of the fonts worth owning, 95% of them are going to be paid fonts. Free fonts typically are junk, though I have seen some notable exceptions.

    I'd try bringing over your font library from your PC... When I was in school all we had was Macs, so I brought the bulk of my good fonts with me on an external HDD. I can't remember which file formats are platform-specific, but most of them work.
     
    If I were you though, I'd just install only fonts that don't suck... there are FAR too many crappy ones out there.
