In Topic: [For Sale] 300 x High PR Backlinks SEO Boosting
Posted 2 Sep 2010
I have a few questions:
If you are doing it over 10 days, is it likely to be 30 per day each day?
How many keywords can you optimise for?
How many other links have you got on the same pages?
Thankyou

roadster, on 25 August 2010 - 10:33 PM, said:Hey everyone
love the forum and hope i can get lots of help and information. I am 26 years old and hope i am not too old to break into the website design industry (hopefully) i have used computers all my life and have some experience in using dreamweaver, gimp and a little but of photoshop i have also used rhino and vector work/ auto cad.
I am wondering basically what employers are looking for in order to get a job as a junior web designer or what are the best courses if any to do.
Also what programs i should get and use and what i should be trying to acheive.
sorry its a wee bit of a hassle but any info would be really great guys.
cheers

Hi Roadster,
welcome to the forums.
I will try to help out as best i can to answer your questions. I see it from the other side, as i am a xhtml/css and SEO specialist, but dont do any graphic design. If i was in your position, i would try to get a portfolio together, and send it out to anybody that is interested (even if just to people like me that outsource graphic design work).
For the courses, there arent really many around, with alot of them just giving you a certificate in the end. If you can find someone to take you under their wing, then the experience will be worth far more than the courses. Where do you stand if you had to do some voluntary work?
Most juniors would earn around £6/hour, so depending on your current situation, you may actually take a drop in income whilst you start out (particularly if you start out voluntarily whilst you build up your contacts)
Hope this has given you something to think about,
Feel free to drop me a PM if you want to discuss anything in particular.
