  1. Is WordPress better than a custom CMS?

    I don't have anything to comment on the design; its a bit non descript and plain.
    Would I eat there? Based on the site, nope.

    I have no idea why so many people use word press for websites; the simplest hackers in the world could break a site like this as easy as a-b-c. Thats why we use our custom cms.

  2. Google Merchant feeds

    Hi

    I'm creating a google merchant feed for my client.

    As you know you have to be have your feed spot on or your data will be removed.

    I'm struggling to get the feed to pass.

    The feed is for Steiff teddybear products.

    The error I'm getting is 'ID' for the ID I've used bear001,002,003 etc but it won't accept it.

    NO idea what else I can put there, its not the product code as that has been accepted.

    Any help appreciated!

    Hello,

    My client needs a logo; her target audience is mainly the portraiture and wedding market.

    These are 3 examples (2/3 are same logo but colours reversed)

    Can you let me know your feedback on these.

    All logos come in b/w version & print friendly only one I'm not 100% on is the aperture printing.

  5. Princes Trust enterprise awards

    Hi

    I'm meeting the princes trust to discuss an enterprice award grant for my new photography business.

    I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of working with them? And has had a grant?

    There are 3 stages from what I understand:

    1. Meeting with business mentors to discuss awards/scheme
    2. 4 day workshop in setting up new business e.g. booking keeping, tax etc
    3. Write a business plan, and present it to the 'board' with request for your grant.

    It sounds alot of work but I probably need to attend the course purely to make sure I'm running things correctly,
