  1. What do you want in a project manager

    13 September 2011 - 12:22 AM

Me and a friend are going to develop a project manager geared toward freelancers and small teams. I already have some features in mind that sets it apart from other project managers that people will feel welcomed.

My question to you is what would you like to see in a project manager for you. What has worked well in managers that you use today and what has been lacking? What features would you like to see that would help your freelance and deal with your clients.

It's a project manager for you, so what do you want?
  2. What is your opinion on the Lobster font?

    01 September 2011 - 07:38 PM

Seems people on Forrst (at least the few who commented on one of my posts) really hate it and even called it the new Comic Sans.

I have a typography friend (who actually knows the guy who made the font) and he is a big supporter of the font.

So what is your thoughts on the font?

I mean WTF. It's like telling a backend developer that his code is a little to "programmy".
  4. Suggestions Needed from WP Theme Makers/Editors

    25 August 2011 - 06:27 PM

Well, many of you know (I hope) that I have a HTML5 vanilla kit that i offer to people for free. Well, I have decided to turn it into a Wordpress theme. Trouble is... I have never done a general theme (I have done a few custom). (my main area of expertise is EE so my WP knowledge is lacking a bit)

With my Vanilla kit I try to keep it as basic as possible, but with being a wordpress theme it needs some functionality built in.

To those who do a lot of WP themes, what do you find that you are constantly doing that would be useful to include into the theme? About the only thing that I have so far is a main navigation ran from the CMS via a custom navigation list.

Any ideas that would be useful.
  5. Decided to design my first sellable template

I tried to make it generic (so it is sellable), but is it too generic? What can be improved?
