About Me
I'm Luke Jones, a freelance website designer and search engine optimisation enthusiast from Redditch, Worcestershire in the United Kingdom. Traxor Designs is my trading name, and the name I've used as my portfolio site for six years, rather than having my own name sprawled across the internet willy nilly. I feel that the skills that I have are difficult to match, and that creativity and efficiency are my keys to success both for myself and the businesses that I have provided my services to.
I'm not just designing websites because it's a way to earn a living, I'm doing it because it's something that I enjoy and a hobby that never ceases to excite me when I first open Photoshop and start choosing colours. This is something that agencies and studios do not have to offer, and why it's always best to choose a freelance designer.
I've been designing websites for six years now, something which started off as a hobby and has stayed that way ever since, except now it's my full-time job as well. Luckily, I dove into the deep-end of website design, offering designs to businesses and individuals across the globe and having to stretch my (limited) skills as far as they would go. Throwing myself straight to the sharks allowed me to get a feel for commercial website design, and ever since, most of the work that I've done has been for commercial businesses, allowing me every little ounce of experience that I need to be good at what I do.
Any designer will tell you that there isn't a specific type of sector which they specialise in, every brief is different, and having to adhere to so many different standards and types of business is a difficult and demanding task, but somebody has to do it. Over the past six years, I've provided my services to software developers, architects, tailors, charitable organisations, photographers, web hosts and many others. For more details on previous clients, and some examples of my work, please visit my portfolio.
