  1. That suggests someone else on the server is being a bit greedy. You are on cheap shared hosting. There are 2,168 sites on the server. A decent host will only have a fraction of that number on each server. As an example, I limit the number of sites on my server to 50.
  2. Looks like a bunch of json scripts slowing down the site. Disable all plugins, log out and run the test again. Google seems to thing the site is all good: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-thefatcow-co-uk/lappr0u0do?form_factor=mobile
  3. Some of the very worst scammers and phishers have professional looking and legit websites. That's how they lure you in. Just post the URL of the Git repository so we can take a look. As @NOCK suggested, it doesn't take long.
  4. Overall impression: Bland boring, generic Target audience: No Clarity and information: No - order form is yuk Navigation: It's OK Mobile experience: Poorly. It is responsive but you haven't considered the UI/UX. It's just another generic clipping site. There are thousands of them. And it's shopify....
  5. You know that doesn't work don't you. All anyone has to do is save the page and they have all the images. Or do a code inspection and grab the URL.
  6. It because you have the copyright in a paragraph and the thing on the right as an unordered list. The paragraph has a 1rem bottom margin. Top tip: don't use bootstrap. A far more elegant way to display the footed is using flex.
  7. Most of them can replicate that layout using blocks. But consider that most visitors will be using a phone so the layout needs to be responsive. And your colour palette fails all accessibility tests - so you need to look at these again. If you plan to send that as an email you may have issues - again because it's not responsive.
  8. Day rates work well on bigger projects. When you send them a quote for scoping the project provide an estimate of 5 days with a caveat that this can increase should there be unforeseen delays by the client or changes to agreed specifications. Then clarify what this means. for example: If you request API details of access to a database and they are tardy in replying this can delay writing the specification. Or they wanted to use shutterstock for the images but now want you find a cheaper source.
  9. Certainly have an initial charge before starting work. This will cover building the specifications and research into the APIs and other interfaces. Then do as suggested and create milestones. I've recently completed a project for a company in Finland. Just writing the specifications and agreeing the scope of the project took two weeks. So you need to consider all the hours you spend writing emails and having zoom meetings.
  10. I tend to use the clipart that comes with MS word. Once I've done some editing I take a screenshot using my phone. I can email the image to myself and open the image using MS Paint. I can resize and crop and save as a tiff. It's now ready to be uploaded to the client's website. Best results for a logo is to have an image 1000px wide. This means no matter how much someone zooms in, the logo will always look crisp and sharp.
  11. Use this: https://base64.guru/converter/encode/image And add it like this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9110091/base64-encoded-images-in-email-signatures But it's still pretty flaky and can still get rejected or removed. Far better to leave it out. And make sure your signature doesn't get attached to all replies as this is a complete pain in the backside.
  12. By being very good at what I do. Lots and lots of research and practice (nearly 30 years and counting).
  13. Your question doesn't make any sense. Who are Guyz? Are you assuming everybody is young and hip and male?
  14. It's simple: you just write about you and your brand. Couple of paragraphs and a picture of the team and it's job done.
  15. What do you mean by boring? How about you begin with your list of blogs and websites.
