Have been looking around but cant really find what im looking for. Just out from a meeting with UX and they've just shown me a nasty 3d carousel that they want to use on the index page of a site i'll be designing. i have told them that its nasty looking and not to go with it but they have asked me to give them some example of sliders that may work in this instance. The one they want to use is similar to this:


Basically, its just going to be a slider, that is just banner image that could involve some text if needed, but it needs to be kinda funky. A little different then the standard banner with circles for navigation. It'll have to restricted to 960px in width.

Ive had a look around and can really find naything thats differ. Here are a few:

Anyone out there good at building iPhone apps? Basically am a UI designer but dont have a clue how to build apps. Just wondering if anyone out there would wanna collaborate on some ideas, i do the design and you do the build kinda thing. Give me a shout if ya's have any ideas anyways.

thought i'd start a new thread for this. Have been working in my spare time designing some iPad apps. Basically i really enjoy doing UI stuff and i am going to need to brush up on my app design skills as my job will be doing more and more of them so i took it upon myself and did up a few. i hope to continue this trend for a while so i'll post up whatever i do here!

Any thoughts throw them up and i'll try incorporate them into the designs!

What's ur favourite apps out there?

Have been using the likes of Zite, Flipboard, Feedy for social magazines. Any other ones ya can recommend?
