  1. Just found an easy solution, it only forces you on your first campaign, so if you create a new one you can choose then. I think that's another little cheeky trick by Google though
  2. Just started a new anayltics campaign after a long time away from it and it seems Google now forces you to show ads on it's display network. I cannot disable it no matter what, just wondering if it's because it's a new account or what? Anybody experienced the same thing?
  3. Same here, the first one. Not sure if it's because I looked at that one first or what.. How far are you on with the development, looks a fun idea.
  4. Currently working on a WordPress multisite network with instant site propagation whereby users can easily set-up a minimalist ecommerce boutique.
  5. I noticed most of the banners on here are for Heart Internet. Maybe there could be something whereby the top right banner (468px x 80px) is used to promote a members site or service for 1 month only. This could rotate every month for whoever is Member of the Month or something. Just a thought..
  6. yeah, absolutely. It's a forum at the end of the day. It's not that big a deal really what colour the background is. It's dark text on a light background. You can read it fine. Sorted.
  7. As much as I hate to agree with old gwildor, I think he is right on the money there
  8. I recently came across a site called Linkshare and out of curiosity signed up to a couple of their programs. I was accepted for both and was in the process of planning what I could make to utilize the programs fully. Fortunately for me a didn't spend that much time or expense up to this point as last night out of the blue I got this email:- Haven't got a clue what it is I am supposed to have done, sent an email to enquire and no response. I would say these guys are quite ruthless and would like to warn people to be careful not to invest too much time in this site as they can shut you down just like that. So I guess that's the end of my affiliate marketing.
  9. I think it was a bad move to be honest. I think it's got a confused identity - almost like you've looked at the competition and panicked. At the end of the day, this forum has the longest track record and thousands of users and I don't think the quick tweaking is enough to put it back on top. Sorry to be so blunt Ben, but as people know I tend to say it like it is..
  10. Personally I would put the whole thing down to experience and move on to something else.
  11. I've certainly not been told about that so I am not expecting my bill to go up - it better not.
  12. You could look at something like this. I've used a few plugins from this site and so far I've been happy overall.. http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/communities/
