Hi All.
I've been interested in web design for a couple of years now and have self taught myself HTML and CSS watching various tutorials on the web and by using the W3 Schools site as a valuable resource.
I have no formal qualifications in web design but would like to look for work in the industry. I've been considering taking advantage of the W3 School certification system but before expending the money and the time I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts as too how serious potential employers in the web design industry would view such certification should I use them as part of a job application?
Obviously if they carried little weight with employers I would seek alternative methods of getting myself certified.
Appreciate any thoughts you guys may have.
Thanks
Kev
