Hi abiz,
Absolutely love it! I think you might have a hit here. It's simple and quirky - great...
It's my view you need to do nothing other than make something of the navigation links - 'spin the wheel' etc. Maybe in the same font as the true**** logo - white on black.
A couple of little things I noticed.
1. I gave it a Digg but noticed it picked up the www.pixholder.com rather than the true**** domain. You might want to fix that.
2. The meta keywords should be like content="true****,cartoons,**** happens, daily life, funny side of life", not a sentence like the meta description. Although, keywords are not used by search engine much anyway any more.
3. Get an H1 tag in there for SEO - not in the iframe.
Good luck with it.

Hi Mike,
Just a quickie. Really like the look and colours etc. Can I suggest you do something with the sun to give it a bit more of a 'sun look' - rays, broken circles or something. My first impression was "what's that big circle for?"!
Also call me paranoid, but is that your real signature? If it is, I'd do something different as you never know what some blagging, phishing son of a *#!x&#@ might try to do with it.
All the best,

Sorry to be frank (and I know what it's like having your design slated) but that site will go nowhere in it's present form.
The clock and images are very nice but way too big. When I was clicking the different links I didn't see anything change as I'm on a laptop and didn't see the content change below the fold. Reduce the size of the clock big time. It's not a clock site but a site to learn French!
As stated previously, the url structure is very weird and may put people off. You can tell your client if they are wrong about something. I do it all the time! That's what they are paying for - your expertise. No client brief is set in stone in my view.
If you client has not provided you with any content use Lorem Ipsum to add dummy content.
All the best,

In Topic: £19k for a website - is it worth it

Talking of SEO - No <h1> tag and no meta description! For £19k these are pretty bad omissions.
The site looks like a wordpress template and in my view would never interest school leavers.

Thanks for the feedback.
Back to the drawing board then!
is it so bad that you think it would put Joe public off?
Regs,
