In Topic: Browser compatibility

Hi there!
I use Adobe Browserlab. This is good for what I do, because you can overlay 2 browsers, and easily see the differences. Best thing is, you don't have to install any extra browsers.

install the browsers.
Zed is right, if you are web developing, you should really have all the common web browsers installed, but because I'm feeling kind, here are the links
Google Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer
Safari
Hope this helps!

Hi Ash,
Do you use Firefox? If so, use a tool called Firebug, this allows you to edit HTML, CSS and Javascript live in the browser, without affecting any uploaded or local files

In Topic: Dropdown Div Wordpress Login

Hi Ash!
For a quick job I have done before, I have used this to good effect! Obviously you can edit the CSS and images inside the files as you require.
You just put the login form in the appropriate div, and make sure that the form has an action which is posted to the relevant PHP file you are creating.
Hope this helps!

In Topic: User role inserted into comments section instead of User Name
25 January 2012 - 11:21 PM
GalaxyTramp, on 25 January 2012 - 05:05 PM, said:$query = "INSERT INTO comments (userName, comment, page_ID) VALUES ('$userName', '$comment', '$game_ID')";
Should this not read
$query = "INSERT INTO comments (userName, comment, page_ID) VALUES ('$userName', '$comment', '$page_ID')";
Hi there!
Thanks for the idea! However, I declared a variable "Game_ID", which is getting the id number from the URL, so that is fine. It's just the User Role (1,2,3) instead of the User Name going into the comments table, which is obviously not how it should be!
