Tracking links to your site from Twitter (and anywhere else)
11 November 2011 - 09:37 AM
Hey guys,
Something I come up with time and time again is clients who need to track the clicks from their marketing campaigns around the social web.
Of course there is the Google URL builder and bit.ly, but it isn't ideal when setting up large campaign to do each URL by hand.
I created this Excel sheet that allows you build URLs in more than one go. This blog post also covers how you can track things smarter in Google Analytics. http://charliesaidth...ogle-analytics/

For the record my personal favourite is of course Google - would love to see which ones you favour (if at all).

14 April 2011 - 08:36 AM
Thanks to Google.co.uk giving some crappy sites a good shoeing this week Qype has lost about 96% of its search visibility (along with a whole bunch of other crappy sites.
Time to rejoice (unless you were doing the SEO for Qype...

Using Wordpress for Facebook Pages
11 April 2011 - 07:24 PM
Since Facebook are now allowing you to iFrame tabs on Facebook pages have been looking at easy ways to sort this out. Found this and been trying it out http://www.wp4fb.com/ this week. I quite like it.
Quite useful - although for you techy guys might just be quicker to do it another way.

Feedback
22 February 2011 - 09:26 PM
Hey guys,
I haven't been around here for a little while. Thought I would share this link to Feedback Roulette. Quite a good place to go review sites and get yours reviewed.
A lack of ego due to the anonymous nature of it, give it a go.
