  1. What software can I use to create a magazine template

    02 March 2012 - 10:28 AM

I want to create a magazine for our business that we can send over to a printer. What software could I use to do this?

The magazine will be a property magazine that we want to deliver to 25,000 homes every month and we need to be able to update it each month so that we can simply email it over to a printer at the end of each month for printing. I therefore want to create a template that is pretty easy for anyone to simply update anyone have any ideas of what I could use?

Furthermore if someone thinks they could create this for us at a decent price then I'd be happy to consider this also as I am no design guru. The magazine needs to be colour and 12 pages and be in a recognised format for most printing firms.

    Anyone got any ideas,

    Thanks guys,

    Jason.
  2. www . domain . co .uk and www . domain .co.uk/index problem?

    23 February 2012 - 12:25 AM

Need a little help here.. I'm sure I read somewhere that if your site links to the index page internally as wwwdomaincouk/index.html google sees it as two different pages and potentially gives you a little black mark for having duplicate content.

    For example

    wwwdomaincouk
    wwwdomaincouk/index.html

are the same page and on one of my sites I think it may be causing an issue with ranking? Could someone put me out of my misery and tell how to solve this little problem..

    Cheers

    J

Do I need to just change any internal links to the homepage from www.co.uk/index to just / ?
  3. Weird twitter widget behaviour

    09 February 2012 - 03:07 PM

I'm not sure if I have only just noticed this or not but in IE the twitter widget looks a little messed up below the testimonials and the bottom border is about 30px too wide and sticks out the side anyone know why this might be happening?
