I'm having 2 issues on this page:

Firstly, the contact link on the top right isn't acting as a link when I scroll over only down near the bottom of the rectangle area.

Second, why can I not get my social media links to move up? I can't figure out what's blocking them, I only want to have around 10px space underneath the logo on the left but I can't get them to move up!!

Ok, so I am rebuilding a website - the clients current website is live and I am building the new website on a different server with a new hosting provider. So do I need to buy a temporary url to host on the new server to do the development?

the current site is for example www.livesite.com so I would develop on a temp url on the new server and then move www.livesite.com to the new server when the the new website is ready? I've read something about redirecting the DNS from the old host? I dont understand fully, can someone explain to me?

Can anyone point me towards info/tutorials on how to implement HTTPS/SSL? This is completely new to me so I need to find a step by step guide to ensure i do it properly....I do mostly front end development, have a little php, but I'm thinkin this can't be too difficult.

The featured images for my posts are not appearing, I'm just getting the alt text. I've checked the url and it seems correct...any ideas what's happening here?
