I have been working on a logo for my site.

Haven’t chosen a name, Muneebah Creative or my full name? but logos for my full name are looking better.

I know this is a primarily a web design forum, but I know a lot of designer cross over into both areas and there are some graphic designer on here…

I was wondering if anyone could shine some light on this...

As in the web design industry content is something that dictates design...this must surely be the same for graphic design right?? See the examples there is a content/tagline with each ad.

This leads to my next question...who comes up with this?

-should it be that corporations need their own
advertising department to be able to do the whole idea generation and concept development and then the designer goes away and implements it,
- or is it the marketing departments job as they know the product most,
- or is it up to the designers department as concept generation is also a creative area???

my situation is my company is quite small so there are only maybe 50 people working here, there is around 5 marketing people and me the design department! And there is confusion in role definition.

If anyone works/worked in a similar situation I like to know how the work set up is?

Hi there,

Does anyone know the name of the HTML tag that lets you format text in HTML and then it will display it as it is? I'm not talking about bold/italics, more about spacing and layout.

I was taught this on my course a long while ago, but can't remember and also can find it though Google searches, so any help would be great!

Quick question, I am supposed to attending an online seminar with Adobe and it says:

This meeting has not started, scheduled to begin at 2pm BST

I googled and found BST time is one hour ahead of GMT, so is my meeting starting at 3pm as it's 2.10 now and the meeting has not started?
