    Thanks.

Where are you Lev and alzer81, both of you are good with logo designs. Any thoughts on improvements?

If I had to pick I'd take 2c. 3 takes up too much space. I don't understand how 4 would work. 5 and 6 lack uniqueness in my opinion and I also think 1 is underdeveloped. Perhaps design 2d in combination with the name from c could work as well.

Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated, I just wanted to see which ones people gravitate to most, and suggestions on improvement.

    Get a Graphics Tablet.
You can get some nice Wacom ones for fairly cheap and they will help improve your digital art and vectors by a great deal.

To get crisper lines its best to try to work with the pen tool on Illustrator or Photoshop, i find the former easier to use that the latter.

If you really want to go for that free hand look then yes a graphics tablet is a good investment. (you can have a look at something i was messing about with at work attached)

but it's always best to practice your illustrating techniques via the good ol' pen/cil and paper. You can then scan these in and trace them to edit and refine them further.

    Thanks for your reply,

I had been told to come up with something to do with the quality of the service provided and I asked for a more specific line/tag line/concept, but they are saying you come up with the design and we can add any strap line to it...for me it should be the other way round, right?? Isn't design a visual communication of the content/strapline?

Great... i like this box 100%. Can you guide me how to design it?

Use the rounded rectangle tool to create a basic shape.

Then use the direct selection tool select it. Now your path will show up.

3/4 along the top of the rectangle add 3 more points using the pen tool (+)

Then again using your direct selection tool, select the middle point and drag it out to the side. This will create a speech bubble for you.
