Hi Guys

I switched my website and emails over to Heart Internet VPS from a managed VPS emails and everything and ever since i have my emails are playing up.

I have set them up on the new server and put the details they provided into my mac mail, iphone 4s and ipad 2 and get the same error on all three.. when downloading the mail from the server i get the mailserver domain.com is not responding when i use IMAP

i have switched it to mail.domain.com / domain.com and thee outgoing i have tried smtp.domain.com & mail.domain.com but i keep getting the same error. I have alo tried using SSL on them with the same errors.

POP seems to be OK but I need the functionality of IMAP

Hey SEO peeps

Ive been working for a design agency for over a year now, well coming up on 18 months, and my boos has taken it upon himself to start looking into SEO and the techniques that are dominating the web.

Now as a salesman this guy is awesome but as a web-guy/SEO, well lets just say knowledge and skills are to be desired. The thing is he has noticed that a lot of old seo's are using this old out dated spammy way of getting rankings that makes all sites look turdish. You know the trick, you place all your keywords in the footer of your website and link them through to the most relevant page, then process to stuff the title and description with all relevant keywords.....yeah that old chestnut.

Anyway, I tell him not to and of course he asks why, me just saying "because its nothing but spam and it makes the website look horid" isn't the right answer as he always says "well it works" and to my hatred it seems to in certain niches.

What I want to know is were they heck can I get proof that this is bad and that he should be doing it differently?
