Chrome's actually one of the worst browsers out about now, maybe good for developers though.

I'd say either IE10 or Safari are the best known ones

Actually, recently published results show that on a mac Chrome is actually the fastest web browser, and IE is not available on the mac and v10 has not even been released yet.
Also, the only people that hate Chrome are those that love having three billion retard-bars and hate minimalism.

It works really well. In fact Adobe is on top of the game in this area (my opinion). You can also check for compliancy and check legacy versions of browsers back to to IE5. Also, Adobe's sample code is bullet-proof in terms of cross-browser display. The browser and compliancy checker is THE ONLY REASON that I use dreamweaver. That being said, I don't use other functionality like "dreamweaver sites" ...that stuff is a complete waste of time.

So, you don't use one of the only points that many use Dreamweaver for? It is a great way to manage local and live source with check out/ins etc - Although I use Coda myself (much much better UI and speed) I do prefer the sites functionality of Dreamweaver.

Pretty generic but true : I would use it to host my (and friends + people I know who need temporary hosting's) coding projects (seriously we start lots of em) and to improve my skills in general.
