Lost In Translation
17 April 2012 - 08:45 PM
Hello everyone, it's been a while!
I'm currently developing a Joomla website that requires multiple languages. Am I right in thinking that if I install a language switcher with the relevant language files, ALL the content on the website will be translated to the language of choice? i.e. menus and content?
My client is in the process of getting the website translated but is this a waste of time if the above works?
Thanks for any help. -
Joomla Image Uploads
18 December 2011 - 03:38 PM
Hi
Is it just me or does Joomla only accept images with a landscape or square orientation?! Every time I upload a portrait orientated image the upload image is rotated 90 degrees.
Has anyone else come across this problem?

Joomla: Client Account Creation
13 November 2011 - 01:51 PM
Hello
I've nearly finished my Joomla project and I need to add the client to the users. I have tried to add them as a manager, administrator etc but when I log in as them the control panel is empty. There is no menus or quick icons, all I can do is log out and view site.
How do I get it to just display key areas? I've read what the permissions are but the problem is with it not displaying anything on any access level other than super user.
Please help someone.

Hi
Could someone please help me out. I've developed a Joomla site on my local server and now its time to move it to a hosted server. I've tried this several times using Akeeba and other methods and none of them are working?
Please can someone tell me EXACTLY how to do it.

Joomla-Current Link
27 October 2011 - 02:08 PM
Hi
Can somebody help me with how to create a current link in joomla? I want the link in the main navigation to remain as the hover colour when you're on that page. Ie when on the home page the "home link" will remain selected so that you know which page you're on.
I know how to do this on a standard HTML site but I don't know how to implement this in Joomla.
Thanks
