WP Import
01 February 2012 - 08:15 PM
I am building a voucher site for a client and came across an issue, trying to import merchants.
I have an RSS feed and an XML file for each letter of the alphabet of merchants, how do I go about importing these into WP to create a page for each merchant.
There is 4200 merchants so not viable to do it manually.
I have a plugin to import RSS feeds into posts (for the vouchers) but can't find one to do pages.
any help is appreciated. -

12 July 2011 - 09:02 PM
Hey guys!
Got a new website for a client but in IE9 it's displaying awfully.
The site is http://www.wmimmigration.com, in FF, Chrome etc it's fine, but IE9 it's a pig.
Anyone help me out of this deep hole?
Cheers -
CSS menu
16 June 2011 - 06:19 PM
I am converting a site from HTML to WP and run into a major css issue which is taking me far too long to work out.
The site is http://www.garethgil...k/wordpress/wm/
If you go to canadian visas at http://www.garethgil...m/canada-visas/, the menu is a mess because of the sub nav. The sub nav needs to display under the main nav item (e.g. canadian visitors) so it becomes part of the menu.
I have tried so many variables of code and I am stuck, anyone got any ideas? -
Themeforest collaboration
14 February 2011 - 10:47 PM
During my quiet times, I need something to keep me busy and what's better than selling themes on theme forest.net.
I am a coder so would be looking for a UK based designer who can design to theme forest's standards and can design various types of sites e.g. business, email templates etc.
I can code xhtml, css, wordpress, joomla and opencart, so got a wide variety of categories we can target.
There would be 50 / 50 split on any revenues except the PSD category which you get 100% of revenue.
If anyone is interested then give me a PM with some of your designs. -
IE JS error
14 February 2011 - 12:17 PM
I put a JS ticket on a clients site and works fine on FF, chrome, opera etc but not in IE8 and below.
The ticker is on http://www.total-seo.co.uk/ near the bottom of the page.
Anyone have any idea why it wouldn't work in IE? I thought it might be because of the css but that's not it.
Thanks in advance.
