Hey!

Some of the more recent members have asked, "What did the forum used to look like when it started". After digging through my archives i've managed to find a screen grab I took back in March 2007.

The forum was launched on September 5th 2006 (coming up to it's 2nd birthday) - it was born with a lime and brown colour scheme!

Check out the original design below:

Also...How the forum stats looked back in March 2007 - quite a difference!

What do you think?

He he, yeah just a tad. I thought it was quite striking and certainly stood out on the page - but the scheme doesn't really work too well for a forum so went for a blue. I'm planning to do v.3.0 more neutral.

:)

When do we get to see v3 Ben? (not that there's anything wrong with the current one)
Will it be launched on the second birthday?

Crikey! You certainly wouldn't forget that colour scheme in a hurry…

2.0 has a lovely colour scheme, although you've intrigued me with this talk of a version 3! Can I see? ^_^

Ahhh v.3.0 - It will be launched in the 4th quarter of this year :) - Won't be in time for the 2nd birthday (though that would have been nice)

He he - no it was certainly memorable, but not very generic as this one and would have put a few members off i'm sure. :) It's a bit like marmite - you either love it or hate it :)

I'm sure when I was a kid (in the 70's) I had a pair of pyjamas with that exact same look! :D

Defiantly stands out on the page - It takes a while for the eyes to adjust but then its ok.

I much prefer the blue one now :)

It's beautiful but the lime is too bright for a forum, makes me squint!

The blue is good, very easy to read on, but a little bit generic. I'm interested to see what will happen with V 3.0 :D

I think I prefer this colour scheme to the last one. :)

I'm excited to see version three though. A cleaner look, customised graphics, and a bit narrower in width would be lovely. :)

Wow I am so glad the forum now has the blue and brown scheme. I love brown and green together but that green is so wrong for it. Such an improvement in both the design and stats!
