hi!

I have trouble getting this right:
I have a single button on stage and I want it to link to a website. I want the button to get the link via an xml file. So I can change the link later without using the .fla.
I made the button,i created an xml file. I googled for a few hours to get the coding but they are all for different (more complex) xml loading like photoslide shows and such. Does someone know a good tutorial for this simple (uhm) thing I need. Or does some1 have a code for the button ,actionscript and what i should put into the xml file?

thanks so much in advance,
Marieke

Hello

You beat me to it! The attachment has a way of doing it with as3. This will test fine in the flash IDE or on a server. For testing on a local drive you need to add the file to flash players gobal security setting, otherwise flash security setting will stop the links working.
