Hi,

Would anyone know a solution to this problem.

On IE, FF and Chrome, any webpage that I open - some random words are made into hyperlinks, the colour turns to blue and the words are underlined - just like old hyperlinks.

Some sort of bug local to my machine?

Cheers,
Emma

Give us an example page, which words are converted into links and where the links lead to?

On this page

[redacted]

See attachment for what I see on the screen.

The links point to this page:

http://cxpfy.com/Tra...rd=degeneration

which quickly points to this page:

http://www.internetc...rd_degeneration

Hope that helps,

Thanks,
Emma

Hey, I thought I had figured it out, I did a quick scan with Norton and it removed 2 risks 'tracking cookies'. I checked the same webpage and other random words had been converted to hyperlinks instead of the previous words.

Malicious BHO.

Cheers for that. I have run norton full scan which removed 4 threats and also downloaded some spy dll software, issue still exists though, so if anyone knows any good free downloadable software, would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Emma

Get spybot search & destroy, and malware bytes. Both are free, and not much will slip through their nets.
