Hi guys,

I'm currently building a demo site for a client and they wish the user to be able to drag and rearrange the items in the sidebar on the working demo site. The sidebar contains various different elements and they want the user to be able to customize the layout of the sidebar from the front end.

I don't know if this is possible but is there and way of making this happen. I've attached an image of the sidebar for people to see what I am talking about. For instance, the user might like to drag Video to be below Interests.

Thanks for any help. I'm pushed on time for this so any ideas on a quick way to do this would be really helpful.

I'd imagine a custom plugin which uses AJAX and can store variables in the database.

Or, the positions are saved in a cookie. However if you're UK based you may want to avoid cookies as much as possible.

I don't think you'll find a quick fix, it could take quite a while to write up functionality like this.
