Hi

I must agree that there is something wrong with the sidebar.

It looks to small and unimportant, could just be the colours being too blend.
you could try a larger font, darker.

the banner at top of the menu does not help, add some text and change the colour or remove it.

You should think about a companion colour (not blue) that you could use to seperate the elements more clear.

At the moment it is too blue.

P.H.

What width are you planning on making the site?

Looks quite narrow for me, if you went for the conventional 960 layout you could possible have some more room to play with.

I assume that is smaller than actual size?

Hey

By the looks of the sidebar, i am thinking it is a piece of paper.

The menu are a little small.

If it is a piece of paper why not right the menu yourself and use as img, so it looks like writing on the page not just typed text.

But Sir I have tried to minimize the images due to the SEO optimization.
So i didn't get into fancy image effects. Only my concern is the color
blending between the content and the side menu bar. And regarding about the
bluewish color thingy. The client gets what he wants so i can't change the color. Poor me :(
Anyway, any idea on what color that might blend to blue for my sidebar?

Thanks advance.

I agree with most of what has already been said.

Also I think the side-bar with navigation links would have more impact if it were higher up on the page, it seems like it could end up being below the fold of the page.

In addition, the map caught my eye - smooth lines between the cities would look better in my opinion, the current lines look quite 'hand-drawn'.
