Hey there,

I've been working on a mockup for a site, the clients and I are fairly happy with the design, but we'd like to know what you guys think. Anything that stands out that should be changed?

Looks pretty good to me. I kind of think the logo should be a bit bigger and overlapping the top green strip - it seems like something should be there. Also I don't really like the font /gradient of the the text that appears over the images. How about a nice semi-transparent grey overlay for the text instead? Otherwise good

Agree. I think it might be nice to have the image of the cows fade into the grey background...

I think it looks very nice and fresh.

Only thing is that "the" navigation is not very obvious to me, actually not visible when looking for the average menu-bar.

The fact that the links in the footer are slightly different than the same links at the top of the page makes it a bit less obvious to be the main navigation.

Perhaps a sitemap link could make this easier to navigate.

Besides that very cool.

I really like it. I would be interested to see how the navigation will be handled on the internal pages. Do you have an example of an internal page too?

Thanks! Yeah I was kind've thinking that myself (in regards to the logo)- I'll have a play around with it tomorrow and see what I can come up with. I'll also muck around with the font.

This is a cool idea, however the image that I'm working with doesn't really allow me to do that very well- I might see if they have the original images.

I didn't notice that the links were different on the bottom, thanks for picking that up.

I haven't quite gotten to working on the internal pages- I'll probably start working on that next week and post up my progress.
