I have been contacted by a company called MoreDigital - http://www.moredigital.com/
They have offered me $130 to place an advert on my blog - http://www.chelseatalk.co.uk/
There terms are: http://www.moredigital.com/terms.pdf

Has anyone had any experience with them? Does it all look legit?

Thanks in advance

It's not really a scam, just dodgy advertising/SEO practices. They aren't talking about ads in the traditional sense, like banners, they want to replace text in your articles with links to certain places.

It's very cheeky advertising and backhanded backlink generating (As you can see if you took the bait and clicked the link) and you run the risk of pissing off readers but from what I understand they do actually pay you.

I wouldn't do it but I think think it quite falls into the 'scam' category.

Thank you for replying. Yeah I don't think I will if they put links in the text of my articles.
Thanks :)

While we are on the topic of advertising. What are good ways to get people to advertise on your site? Is there any good company's? I don't want loads, just one or two to cover the domain and hosting cost. I used ad sense on another site in the past but didn't have much success.
