I have always used Notepad++ on my windows laptop but this isn't available on a mac...
Which do you find is the best text editor?
I am currently using Text Wrangler but I'm just not getting on with it - the window size is far too small and I just can't seem to be able to find a way to maximise it.

from what Mac people say, Coda is meant to be good. Although I suspect it may not JUST be a text editor.

Agree'd Coda is a brilliant application for coding websites. I'm currently building Rails apps and being able to open terminal windows from within the program is a god send
There's also TextMate which a lot of people recommend but I'm pretty sure you have to buy that one too..

+1 for Espresso, it's awesome. Check it here
I would also recommend Sublime Text 2, it's still free and as powerful as textmate. You can use textmate bundles with it too. Check it here
