Domain name is available but not with my host

Hi
I am trying to register a domain name. On every site i check it says available but when i go to order it with my current host it says it is unavailable. Any ideas why only my host would say unavailable? I could register it with someone else but it would be free with my host.

Hi Paul,

Could just be a bug in your hosts domain checker.

Feel free to try searching for your domain on our new domain name checker

We have only just made the checker live in the last couple of weeks so it's still in BETA mode, but it should work.
