hi, i am thinking about createing a web service and application, i was thinking of putting it on a cloud, and i know for google app it has to be in java, can anyone give any adivce on creating a web service n application in java, what do u use to code it, any help would be much appreciated

I'm not particularly familiar with Google Apps; these aren't my specialism, but if you mean a java based app, I do believe Appcelerator (http://www.appcelerator.com/) supports these kinds of apps. I'm basing that entirely on them saying that it can be used for browser, desktop and smartphone apps & widgets. So don't go buying it on this post alone, have a read up and maybe ask them.

If you mean Java Server Pages then you'll want to head over to the Java website, get the SDK's and you can build on just about any IDE.
