I am designing a website for friend and using some flash images from thier previous site. I have a couple of problems the first is that a vertical white line appears between the 2 flash images, I have checked that the images do not have borders. The second problem is that the second flash image appears to either be smaller than the first or have some white space at the top of the image.

I have posted previously about the vertical white line and got one response, but did not really understand it. The website has beed designed in frontpage and does not have a style sheet. I tried designing the page in dreamweaver and still got the white line between the images.

The problem can be seen by looking at the top images at www.kiddiesworld21.com.

Cheers

The page is laid out using tables which might have some bearing on the issue with the vertical line between the images.

The reason there is a height difference is due to the left hand image having a height of 160px and the right hand having a height of 164px.

Yeah as I say when I make the images the same size there appears to be a white line at the top of the right hand image. I have resized them now if you look again. The problem is worse in Internet explorer, in Firefox the images appear the same size but still have a line between them.

I am not sure what effect the table has as I have tried placing the images on the page inside and outside of tables but the line is still there.

I have fixed theproblem by recreating the 2 flash images into 1, thanks for the help

I was just about to suggest that.

I "borrowed" the flash files for a bit and for some reason they wouldn't play ball unless position:absolute; was applied to them.
