Hello everyone,

I would like to tell you about free web hosting service I use now.
Register here: http://www.######.com/545388.html

They give 1500 MB of disk space and 100 GB data transfer. I am now using them for about 3 months and never seen any downtime of server problems. There is no any kind of advertising on my pages too, so I think its worth to signup.

Free web hosts are widely percieved as being the home of many less than reputable web sites and activities such as peddling fake medicines, malware, clickjacking scams, pirated software and of course the email spammers to name but a few.

In fairness some of the server herders who run these services have made significant progress in the discouragement, detection and eradication of those who would abuse their generosity. Much to the delight of more legit amateur web designers as the purges have freed up the space & bandwidth making for some terrific hosting offers and better server uptimes. It's not all roses I should point out these free accounts do come with some draconian restrictions.

Two of the biggest (I'll call them Red & Blue) stand apart as being particulary vigiliant, Blue being very swift and ruthless in its suspension and subsequent deletion of accounts. One only has to take a look in their support forum to find page after page of petulant script kiddies whining about 'it ain't fair' & 'I wan't my data back'.

Whilst not suitable for all applications they do have their uses for beginners stating out, afterall at some point every web designer has to be confident playing around with a live server. Of course recomending one of these free web hosts is not quite the same thing as posting a referal link, that was a tad naughty lol!

People who always want everything for free deserve everything they get.

ps, nothing is ever free, it's just sometimes the price you pay isn't always as obvious as pounds, shillings and pence

Awesome quote I read reccently about free stuff on the internet:

Quote

If you're not paying for it (eg Google, Facebook), then you're the product that's being sold.

Great sentence, but I'm also happy to be the product so long as the service is worth it. Nothing is free unless it comes direct from mother nature and you're willing to work for it.

I used to hunt out free web hosting, but these days you can get decent hosting, and a domain name, for less than £4 a month so it hardly seems worth it.
