Hello!

I was approached by a American company who specialize in creating stick on wallpaper from images last September, about using my artwork on their website. After researching the company I allowed them to use some designs I had and also new ones I had created for them, as well as sending them a bio and a image of me for them to add in their artist bios section of their website. They said they would contact me in one month when they had added my designs etc to the website.

I contacted them at the beginning of November, since I had not heard anything and had no response. I do have the woman who contacted me (she is the President of the company) on my LinkedIn profile. So I am thinking of contacting her on there. Since I have not heard anything. I did wonder if the company had gone bust as the website has not been updated. However she posts a blog that includes the latest designs the company has done. I have not seen any of mine yet!!

So my question is what is the best way to make contact with her regarding my designs without sounding like I'm about to declare war on her, the company, USA!!? I'm not bothered so much about royalties as I was only getting 5% if my designs sold. But it would be good to add to my CV/Resume.

The fact I have not heard anything is making me a bit suspicious.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just signed a License Agreement WBC!! When I asked how big the images should be? I just got from the woman 'bigger the better!' which isn't much of an answer. So used the uploader on their website to test it. It could only handle file size up to 6 MB. So I made my images 6 MB+. Because surely they can tweak them to ideal spec.

But since then have heard nothing from them. Nothing about me or my designs on the website, nothing in the blog. But I am a tad miffed about no response from her when I sent a polite email asking. What is the latest with my designs? And getting f.a. response. I would rather they just told me either way yes we are going to use them or no we're not. Not unreasonable.
