Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could advise on the following: I want to create a 10 second looped high quality video clip to preferably load via Fancybox to display on a website. The clip would be composed from a number of sequenced still images. The question is - can it be done, is it viable without compromising loading time and or quality? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks, John.

The secret is to set things in motion after the bulk of the pages normal content has been loaded, this way the visitor has something to look at.
Preloading images and executing code only after all images have loaded

Thank you for taking the time time and trouble to reply. I am not very experienced with web development and I am not sure how beneficial it would be to preload the images with JavaScript. There could be up to 36 images (each about 50K)
or, one other option that I came across was to place the actual object onto a 'turntable' and shoot video of it rotating, then edit the clip and export it as a quicktime movie. Or is this idea worse option?? What do you think? John.

Yes you could shoot video (then edit) and use an iframe inside a 'Fancybox' that would sidestep any page loading issue completely like they do on the demo.
However, if it's a product that you want to show a 360 degree view of try this..
