OK I'm stumped. I just installed a clean Wordpress installation 3.1.1, skinned a theme and pointed a clients domain name at the root on my server - same as I do every time. DNS etc is all set-up correctly.

However, for some reason on this occasion the only page that keeps their domain name in the address bar is the home-page!

Here's their URL: http://www.dappergaming.co.uk/

And here's my server / root installation URL: http://www.creativew.../dapper_gaming/

You'll notice that as you browse the site via their URL it changes to mine! Please help as I need to deliver this by tomorrow PM!!

Thank you!! :D

Hi! My settings are as follows:

WordPress URL - http://www.creativew...s/dapper_gaming

and

Site Address URL - http://www.creativew...s/dapper_gaming

This is how all my other sites are set-up too (i.e. my domain and directory in these fields) and I've never had an issue. Is this not the correct method?

Many thanks for your help!

It should have the desired domain name in. Change both to http://www.dappergaming.co.uk/

That might be something to do with how you pointed the domains - but this is how WP expects to be set up & is best for WP internal rewrites.
