I am currently doing research concerning domain branding. Would it be possible to give your insights on this?

- What do you consider as domain branding?
- For what reasons is it important to brand your domain?
- What are according to you the latest trends in domain branding?
- Is there any basic advice you would give to smaller companies concerning domain branding (eg. best practices)?
- Do you know any examples of websites that dealt with their domain branding in a creative way?

I am compiling a report and best practice guide on domain branding and website structure. One part of this report will deal with the insights of industry professionals and people that have experience with the topic. That's the reason why I created these questions and posted them on the forum.

Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say "brand your domain" in q2?
