Hi,

I want to build a website where users can add products on line and sell them, and when the payments happen it goes into that user bank account.

So I need to get the users Bank details to be able to achieve this.

My question is of course this has to be secured very good, can I achieve this without SSL Certificate and if yes what other ways I can use for this to be secured well.

As I am not able to get an SSL Certificate in the mean time.

Many Thanks,

Youssef

No SSL to send bank details across the web?! I'm sure everyone would love to do that! To be honest, I would just give up on this right now. You clearly don't want to spend money on even an SSL, so having a secure server to store this on is just going to be a joke

I didn't say like that, I want it secure, I didn't build it yet, I want it secure and this is why I am asking, before I build.

Thank you,

OK so I will definitely need an SSL certificate, would I need any other secure methods with the SSL Certificate.

Hi guys,

What you think if I use this,

1- The user who want to sell products in my website, I will pick only his email that he used to register into PayPal, and from there using the <input type="hidden" name="business" value="xx@xx.com"> to transfer that Money from the buyer account into the seller account.(So it will be all through PayPal).

2- For the buyer who want to buy a product in my website, I will use Third Party(PayPal), so all the bank details will be in the PayPal secure page, and no details will be used in my website.

If I am right I wouldn't need an SSL certificate if I used this method, but definitely I will be using one soon in the future.

Please let me know if I am doing some thing wrong as I want to be sure that every thing is going to be secure before I start my project.
